Exhaust air heat exchanger Conti tyre plant Hannover

12 exhaust air heat exchangers (air-water) were installed for heat recovery from exhaust air contaminated with rubber flakes at Continental's tyre plant. The heat exchangers consist of an aluminium housing in which capillary tube mats in the form of registers are tightened. The capillary tube mat registers can be easily pulled out sideways for cleaning. The units were placed on the roof of the tyre heating and are connected via a circulation system to the supply air heat exchangers, which in turn preheat the outside air of another production hall.
