"New factory hall for the construction of the largest industrial steam turbine produced at the plant until 2009. Görlitz is supplying a turbine set with an output of 96 megawatts and a total length of around 25 metres with a width of around 9 metres for Stadtwerke Hannover. The area of the exhaust steam part of the industrial turbine required for this is 6,3 square metres.

The floor area of the hall, which covers more than 3000 m², is twice as large as the floor area of Dresden's Frauenkirche. With a length of 107 m and a height of 24 m, the new building is the largest hall in the Görlitz turbine factory. The production hall is equipped with four cranes, including one for loads of up to 200 tonnes."
